NCN1 southbound sign. Just avoiding the hanging baskets. The text size (x-height) on this sign is very small. This makes the sign hard to see.

A wooden post, set in a hedge, on the edge of a farm track. The east-bound finger has probably been swiped off by a passing farm vehicle. The desire to create signage that doesn't look 'urban' can sometimes lead to signage that's no good ... [more]

national route 76 round the forth has many challenging cunningly concealed steep climbs from the shore away from installations or closed off areas. This is an excellent cyclepath.
